Michael Bronski: A Queer History of the United States

A very thorough and well-written history of the subject. It pays rightful tribute to the earliest pioneers and the author gives us a clear overview of this vital topic. He also very effectively puts the events on the ‘gay timeline’ in their full economic and political context which histories like this sometimes forget.

A very sound and reliable resource I think
