This was a wonderful experience – and I think that ‘experience’ is really the best word for it. The show demonstrates the company’s unique blend of modern dance and circus skills but they seem to blend well, and often magically too.

I must admit that for me it was tricky to follow the ideas that were being explored and for me it was more a fascinating collection  of separate pieces than a coherent work with a message and/or story. But I gained enough from the experience in just admiring the abstract stage picture, the wonderful and awe-inspiring techniques (and bodies!) that were on display for this. To me a marvelous evening in the theatre. Pure abstract theater I feel/ and so uniquely interesting because of that.

The final image – the company en bloc facing a filigree ‘cave’ that covered the sides and top of the stage – was a  magical moment I am not sure what it meant/what the significance was but whatever it was it was emotionally, like all the various sections, very powerful.
