Andrew Caldecott: Wyntertide

Andrew Caldecott: Wyntertide

Not much to say as find it tricky as so richly complicated. But riveting continuation with the superb plot elaborated very skilfully but you need to keep your wits about you.

The characters many of whom are very ancient and who have lived many lives develop and richer marvellously. Some superb nature description. Not a lot but when it is there it is stunning.

Difficult to think who it’s like ...no one in particular as it should be but Mervin Peake does come to mind as there is a definite twisted Gothic element(s) to it.

Can’t wait for the next.
