Iaian Banks: The Business

Nearly there. Intriguing. Quite a page-turner.

Marvellously entertaining read. Not a work of great profundity but by the end the central character , a woman who is a very high-ranking official in a massive secret worldwide company has learnt about herself and what is really important in her life. I wonder if the germ of that idea came from conspiracy theorists who claim that the Illuminati or the like secretly control the world and and always have.

Style decent if nothing unique.
