King of Stonks. Raucous and often very vulgarly funny dramatization of the Wirecard scandal, also the subject of a Netflix documentary.

Good fun although the darker aspects of what was actually being done are, deliberately underplayed. Loved the back-and-forth of the situation as we approached the climax in Episode 6. The visual style, as befits the subject, is incessantly flashy but, unlike some other examples of this, was not as maddening as it come be as it was perfectly matched to the story; its when this sort of style is at odds with the story being told, be it fiction or truth and is clearly there to draw attention to the film-maker.

Happy Valley Season 1: It truly matches the hype.
