Creep 2. Superb better-than-original development of Creep

This was excellent; the first part was very unusual and intriguing and when I found oyt there was now this film, I was, tbh, rather doubtful that the original could be matched; would it just be retreading the same ground? Hpowever I was very wrong and there were constant twists and turns and, as in this essentially two-hander, with first one character, then the other seemed to get the upper hand. A very clever ‘continuation’ of the original Creep and I am very much looking forward to the third and final part. I think that perhaps one reason why it has been so good is that it was, apparently, conceived as a three-part piece from the start, something I did not know when viewing the first one.

The performances are gripping and the hand-held POV camera was used really well and imaginatvely, giving new life I felt to what can so often now be a very dull and predictable stylistic cliche.

On to Part 3 - when it arrives.
