These brief remarks should be read in conjunction with my Facebook postings of Oct 21st where I have some images from the show and remarks about those specific images.
This show is a favourite annual event but, this year, as in the past, the beauty and power of the images is grimly contrasted with the darkness of the subject matter. But it does provide a true image of our world.
I particularly loved the landscape images – not a part of the exhibition, but wonderful views of the natural world, pleasingly often helped and beautified by man. The images from Iceland were particularly stunning and confirmed my desire to visit this location soon.
