Becky Albertalli: Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda

Becky Albertalli: Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda

Well over half way. Marvellous and perceptive.

So just finished. As ever as always seems to b the case with the majority of books I write about, loved this. Sweetly funny and the lead early adolescent character is appealing not irritating and whinily self-absorbed...and it’s good to have a set of characters who come from happy homes and not agonised and suffering ones. Perceptiveness of the author about the power and magic of sexual awakening and first live is exemplary..and in terms of how dealt with and expressed could as well be heterosexual as gay. Sign of good writing I think.

Glad read before seen film and will b interested to see how it transfers.
