The Blonde Hurricane: Jeno Rejto (P. Howard)

This was great fun; fast-moving and witty. I did initially wonder if the self-conscious style, which was very apparent at the start – very emphatic and mannered/self-conscious - would become tedious and facetious but this was not so and the author managed it very effecttvely and amusingly throughout; it was finely judged as it would have been easy to get to be OTT.

As a story, it was a very well-plotted and clever one, with endearing characters with some depth and development to them. I found myself developing great affection for Lord B.

This would make great short-episode Netflix series…there are definitely ‘Raiders’ elements in this.
