The Cuckoo's Calling. Robert Galbraith

The Cuckoo's Calling. Robert Galbraith

A gripping and marvelously told mystery with impeccable plotting rising to a wholly satisfying conclusion. I much like the way that nuggets of information about the detective’s past life and experiences are dropped, always wholly appropriately, into the unfolding plot, invariably helping to advance it, explain, and make sense of some of Cormoran Strike’s actions and feelings. (and the characteristic vivid names are a Rowling characteristic in this tale).

With it having been a very long time since I read a murder mystery I was very pleased about how much I thoroughly enjoyed the experience  of reading it - and I am now going to seek out others in the series.
