I binged this – and it was perfectly fine for such an approach. The plotting was clear and involving with layers and past events gradually being revealed and the relationship between past and present was shown to be, as ever, of central importance and unavoidable.

The performances, particularly Michelle Dockery and Sienna Miller, were first rate in plausibly showing the long-term effects of trauma, both in the past and the present and all other performers were equally dynamic and convincing.

The ending however, in the very last minutes, while in one way emotionally satisfying, sadly, did not really ring true as such conclusions, it seems, really do not happen in real life to the sort of people depicted!

Wednesday; Impressive and comically darkly gripping development of a cartoon character

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. A smartly funny parody of a classic Netflix genre.
