This was rather a lovely little series. The central group of characters were well drawn and distinct without showing self-conscious and overly-calculated writing. The focus changed from time to time, which was dramatically effective, and the resolution(s) at the end were effective and set up matters for the second series. The brevity of each episode was also welcome – enough time to tell the essential story/story strand but not too elongated.
