This was not a great show by any means but what it did, it did very well. I liked the slow pacing which was both tension-inducing and intriguing. The way the different strands were all tied together was impressive and the Polish setting was effective. The only characters who were somewhat less interesting were the police officers – but then the focus in this was not the police procedural aspect but the families around whom the trauma centred. I may well seek out a few more Harlan Coban adaptations; it seems there are plenty of them.
