Very pleased to report that this second series (and sadly it seems, the last) was just as good as the first. The relationship between the two brothers was as touchingly and thoughtfully done as ever and there was an emotionally and dramatically satisfying ending. Likewise the burgeoning relationship between them and their estranged father.
However, even though, essentially, ‘the good ended happily and the bad unhappily’, one still has the feeling that the big picture and the power and influence of ‘the establishment’ in its many forms, in practical terms, remains unchanged.
