This was great fun! It managed to be thrilling and thoughtful at the same time. It was all done in quite a lurid style but it gave a wonderfully vivid picture of ‘the lives of others’ opening a door into a world that someone of my generation is really only somewhat dimly aware of.

The young ensemble cast were uniformly excellent as this was a film where the actors were not the focus but rather their characters and actions were.

Well worth looking out.

BlacKkKlansman: Jaw-dropping, witty account of true events with the ending showing that very little if anything has changed.

Disturbia. Pretty good re-visiting of Rear Window although a bit OTT at the end
