Lovely little gem of a film. Marvellous ensemble cast of group of performers and their developing relationships. Rich colour palette and liked the way always threat of underlying homophobia in their society. Not wholly gay-centric but is very important aspect. Good as well to be focused on people with hard-scrabble life not waspy self-regarders.

In many respect story told through thw songs that the club performer characters sing - but not done heavy-handedly.

Central police character well developed - and burgeoning relationship between young drag queen and slightly older admirer very well done. Well worth a look.
