These comments will be relatively brief. I posted many pictures of works from these on my Facebook pages at the time I was in Spain – in the case of this museum between Sept 22nd and Sept 29th, 2022.
This was a wonderfully peaceful episode – and as is often the case with large parks or gardens in the middle of a metropolis, even though the roads are in very close proximity, you can hear ‘the sound of silence’ - or if not silence, then certainly very considerably muffled. The layout was marvelously enticing, avoiding too many straight lines and the upkeep was exemplary in the extent of the information given and the thoughtful and discreet was it was located. The Bonsai terrace was a particular highlight for me,a s was the art gallery. I love the idea of there being this creative interface between a garden and an art gallery; it is the first time I have come across this and I wonder if this place is almost unique in doing this. It seems the art gallery is a constantly changing entity with different themes and ideas being used over time. Marvellous.
