Greatly enjoyed this film. Super continuous ratching up of tension and loved the way you were always being led down alleys you thought would explain what was happening but turned out not to be the case. It doesn't fall into an easy category..and that's not because it is muddled ( although some reviews gave suggested this) but because it is original. Is it going to be like The Room, is it 'heroic female escapes predatory male, is it a Minster movies...and if so who's the monster?
Great performances and excellent sense of claustrophobia and uncertainty. As with the female lead we constantly question what we are being told and what we see.
Very stylish...and its 'related' to Cloverfield only in that aspect really. Good fun; a quality and engaging popcorn movie ( but you will be too involved to actually eat popcorn!)
