A very strange but grimly gripping little piece (only a little over an hour) which moves intriguingly from (apparent) reality to fantasy and then back. It is only at the very end that we realise what has (probably) happened. The blending and move from fantasy to reality, constantly pulling the ground from under us is well and intriguingly done. Towards the end I was sure I knew what would be revealed/would understand what had gone on, but the actual resolution was both effective and not quite what was expected.
There is a clear tribute/reference to Polanski’s Repulsion, but it is no mere copy or trite re-working. A grim little piece for whicht he word ‘enjoyed’ is probaably not the one to use!
